reading a text file that has rows and columns and populate an array

Hi

i would like to fill 3 arrays from a text file which look like this.

Header1     header2    header3

1                1                1

2                2                2

3                3                3

4                4                4

file rows can be changed.

should i fill a buffer with data first then populate the arrays?
