From past quite sometime i have been working on MFC/Win32 API. Also i have started working on COM/ATL. I have been seeing the changes, the invention of .NET and now as been .NET 3.0 it looks like most of code is started to be developed in .NET instead of MFC. Even it looks use of COM/ATL is going to be lot less. I have some queries.
1.) Whats the future of MFC/COM/ATL
2.) which are the conditions/situations where i still should prefer to use MFC/COM/ATL instead of .NET
3.) Is MFC/COM/ATL sooner or later gonna be technology which is out of phase and only .NET will be used for Development mainly.
Please let me know your views.
