Simulating touch screen events on PCs without a touch screen

Hi

I am using InitializeTouchInjection() and InjectTouchInput() in order to emulate touch screen events using a perceptual camera on Windows 8. On my ultrabook this works as expected, but the touchscreen is present. I would like to know if these two functions work in the same way on PCs without a touch screen.
